That resilience is what eventually pushed him to look beyond Dublin. Leaving wasn’t easy. “The Irish are a tight-knit bunch,” he says, and stepping away from that familiar world was a big deal. But the pull of Dubai was stronger. He saw the speed, the sheer scale of opportunity. “It was a complete new experience for me,” he admits, “however, one of the best decisions I have made.” 

He came to Dubai for a reason: the market. It’s fast-paced, always moving, always making new opportunities. For Josh, that’s not overwhelming; it’s exciting. It’s a place where you can really build something if you’re willing to put in the work. He joined Gold Mark Real Estate, bringing that same drive he had on those Dublin streets, but now in a city that feels like the future.

When you ask him for advice, he doesn’t complicate it. “My advice for anyone considering moving to Dubai is to just do it,” he says. “Apply for the job, book that flight, and live the dream.” It’s direct, no-nonsense advice from someone who’s been there, done that.
